Corporate Team Building & Company Events at Throw
Throw Art Studio hosts team building events for Ann Arbor companies at our pottery studio on Jackson Plaza.
Book a relaxing painting session, a hands-on wheel throwing session, or combination event!
No experience needed and everything is included. We fire your team's work after the event, and the estimated pickup is two weeks for painting and four weeks for wheel throwing.
What To Expect
Wheel Throwing
2 hour session. 15 minute demo, 90 minutes of wheel throwing, 15 minute cleanup. Minimum 6 throwers.
No experience required! Your instructor starts with a demo of the basics, then everyone moves to their own wheel and starts throwing while instructors circulate and coach.
At the end, everyone picks their favorite piece and chooses a glaze color for it!
The studio handles trimming, glazing, and two firings. Pieces are ready for pickup within 4 weeks.
Pottery Painting
Up to 3 hours. Minimum 7 painters. Maximum 14 painters (temporarily).
Pick a piece from our shelves, anywhere from $15 to $60, and paint it with studio glazes. Staff are around to answer questions and restock supplies.
Pieces are ready for pickup within 2 weeks.
Combination Party
2 hour session. Minimum 6 throwers.
Your group will split up, with some at the wheels on one side of the studio, & others at the painting tables on the other side.
The entire group's work will be ready in 4 weeks for pickup.
