A 7-week course that teaches complete beginners how to throw pottery on the wheel from the ground up. You'll meet once a week with an instructor, learning everything from centering clay to trimming, glazing, and firing your finished pieces.

No. This course is built for people who have never touched a pottery wheel. No prior skill or knowledge required.

By the end of the course you'll know how to center clay, form bowls, cups, and cylinders, trim and clean up pieces at the leather-hard stage, attach handles and shape surfaces, and glaze your finished work.
