Service Description
Join Dexter Wolf to learn the basics of hand building techniques at Throw Art Studio! Participants will learn hand building techniques in 4 classes across 4 weeks. Learn how to pinch, coil, sculpt, and glaze with 1 month of practice. Each student will have a 10" circular bat to put finished pieces on. Finished pieces will be put through our kiln. All materials & firings provided. After this course, you will have the knowledge to sculpt and glaze your own pieces at home or in your own studio. CLASS 1: Pinch Pots, Coil Pots CLASS 2: Slab Building (Trays, Vessels, Vases) CLASS 3: Lidded and Closed Forms CLASS 4: Underglazing Your Projects
Cancellation Policy
Purchases of wheel throwing or painting courses can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 5 days before the planned start date of the course. For students in our wheel throwing or painting courses who cannot attend one or more planned sessions, we cannot guarantee makeup sessions with instructor guidance. If you plan on missing a session, please let your instructor know.
